In the midst of rumours of a split, Sylvester Stallone's wife files for divorce.

After 25 years of marriage, Rocky actor Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin are getting divorced. Flavin filed "for dissolution of marriage and other relief" on Friday in a Florida court. After dating for many years beginning in 1988, the couple finally got hitched in 1997. As Flavin is 54 years old and Stallone recently turned 76, there is a sizable age difference between the two.

Flavin said in a statement to People, "I cherish my family. We are resolving these private matters peacefully and in private." Scarlet, 20, Sistine, 24, and Sophia, 25, are the couple's three kids, but Stallone is also father to sons Seargeoh from a former marriage and Sage, his oldest son, whom he shares with his late lover Starlin Wright. The news comes after fans observed that Stallone had covered up a tattoo of his wife's face that was featured on his bicep, sparking rumours of a breakup between the devoted couple.
