Prepared for the eagerly awaited psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling are Harry Styles and Florence Pugh. Olivia Wilde is the director of the movie. The movie has generated a lot of buzz for months, but not always for the right reasons. There are many rumours claiming that Harry Styles was paid more than Pugh. In response, Wilde recently refuted all of these rumours.

Wilde remarked, "There has been a lot out there that I generally don't pay attention to," in an interview with Variety for this week's cover story. But what truly infuriated me was the silliness of contrived content and the accompanying outrage over a nonexistent pay gap between our star and supporting performers. I've worked in this industry as a woman for more than 20 years, and as a director in particular, I've fought for both myself and other women. Those assertions have no basis in reality.

Along with Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, the ensemble cast also stars Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, and director Olivia Wilde. Carey and Shane Van Dyke's spec script served as the basis for Katie Silberman's screenplay. The sequel to Wilde's upcoming 2019 coming-of-age comedy Booksmart is titled Don't Worry Darling.
